FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Matt Cassel passed for 345 yards and three touchdowns Sunday in a 47-7 New England Patriots' whipping of the Arizona Cardinals.
New England (10-5 ) got all of its points before Arizona finally scored with just over 6 minutes left in the game.
The Pats stayed even with Miami, which beat Kansas City 38-31, atop the AFC East.
LaMont Jordan scored on runs of 1 and 3 yards in the first quarter, sending New England on its way to the one-sided victory.
Cassel's touchdown passes included a 76-yarder to Randy Moss.
Stephen Gostkowski kicked four field goals for New England.
Arizona quarterback Matt Leinart connected with Larry Fitzgerald on a 78-yard touchdown pass for the Cardinals (8-7).
