DENVER, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Buffalo came from behind and topped the Denver Broncos 30-23 Sunday with a Trent Edwards scoring pass, two rushing touchdowns and three field goals.
Fred Jackson ran for an 8-yard TD that proved to be the game-winner for the Bills (7-8) with 8:54 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Edwards, who was 17-of-25 passing for 193 yards, hit Steve Johnson on a 3-yard scoring play, Marshawn Lynch ran 2 yards for a touchdown and Rian Lindell had field goals of 37, 49 and 28 yards.
Jay Cutler passed for 359 yards and ran for two touchdowns for Denver (8-7), which led 13-0 early in the second quarter.
The Broncos play at San Diego next Sunday with the winner taking the title in the AFC West.
