COL BKB: UCLA 76, Mercer 59

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Darren Collison had 20 points Saturday night and No. 12 UCLA beat Mercer 76-59.

Michael Roll was 4-for-5 from three-point range and finished with 16 points. Alfred Aboya had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Bruins (8-2), who won their fourth straight game.

Calvin Henry led the Bears with 14 points. Daniel Emerson scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Bears (6-5), who lost their third straight game.

UCLA opened the game with a 14-3 run, with Jrue Holiday scoring the first five UCLA points. Mercer trailed by just 29-24 with 13:20 gone in the first half but they never got any closer than that the rest of the way.

The Bruins led by as much as 15 during the second half.
