TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Dec. 21 (UPI) -- K.C. Rivers' 28 points helped No. 25 Clemson improve to 12-0 with a 91-72 win over Miami-Florida in the ACC opener for both schools Sunday night.

Clemson (12-0, 1-0 ACC) led 38-30 at the break and then built a 50-39 lead with 15:19 remaining. From that point, the closest Miami came was 50-41 following a jump shot by Dwayne Collins.

Terrence Oglesby scored 17 with three assists. Demontez Stitt had 10 points, five assists and three steals for the Tigers, who again started the season playing a weak non-conference schedule.

They easily beat North Florida 76-36 Tuesday.

Jack McClinton led Miami with 20 points and four assists. Cyrus McGowan scored 11 points, while both Collins and Brian Asbury scored 10 points for the Hurricanes (7-3), who had won three in a row.
