COL FB: Wake Forest 29, Navy 19

WASHINGTON, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Quarterback Riley Skinner went 11-for-11 with one touchdown pass Saturday to fuel a 29-19 Wake Forest win over Navy at the Eagle Bank Bowl in Washington.

In a flawless effort following an early 10-0 deficit, Skinner threw for 166 yards. His touchdown pass was for 8 yards to tight end Ben Wooster midway through the fourth quarter.

In a 24-17 loss to Navy previously this season, Skinner was intercepted four times.

Saturday, he added a two-point conversion pass and easily was the game's MVP.

Also, Ken Harris rushed for 136 yards on 24 carries, while Josh Adams scored twice on the ground for the Demon Deacons (8-5), who finished the season with their straight bowl victory.

Navy's Rashawn King scored on a 50-yard, first-quarter fumble return.

Matt Harmon kicked kicked two field goals, and quarterback Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada scored once after 83 yards on 15 carries for the Midshipmen (8-5), who split their final four contests.
