COL BKB: Purdue 76, Davidson 58

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Robbie Hummel had 18 points and 14 rebounds Saturday to lead 18th-ranked Purdue to a 76-58 win over 20th-ranked Davidson.

Keaton Grant added 15 points. JaJuan Johnson scored 14 and E'Twaun Moore had 11 in the Boilermakers' (9-2) fourth straight win.


Davidson star Stephen Curry missed his first eight shots from the floor and finished with just 13 points on 5-of-26 attempts. Davidson (8-2) had a six-game winning streak snapped.

With Curry off the mark from the start, Purdue raced out to a 21-0 lead. Davidson finally scored on Andrew Lovedale's layup with 12:41 left in the first half.
