INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Al Thornton and Baron Davis combined for nine points in the second overtime Friday and the Los Angeles Clippers finally wore down Indiana 117-109.

The Pacers played without Danny Granger, Marquis Daniels and Troy Murphy, all of whom were hospitalized prior to the game with flu-like symptoms. They are expected to miss Indiana's game in Philadelphia Saturday.

Indiana had only four bench players, but almost won the game in regulation. It took a three-point shot by Thornton with 11 seconds left to force overtime.

Zach Randolph made two free throws for the Clippers to tie the contest again with 1:10 to play in the first overtime and neither side could score the rest of the way. Thornton then made the first four points of the second extra period and Davis contributed five down the stretch, allowing the Clippers to halt the Pacers' two-game win streak.

Randolph led the Clippers with 34 points and 16 rebounds. Thornton had 25 points and Davis had 18.

Indiana got 27 points from Jarrett Jack. T.J. Ford added 17.
