COL BKB: Connecticut 91, Stony Brook 57

HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Jeff Adrien and Hasheem Thabeet each scored 18 points Monday to lead second-ranked Connecticut in a 91-57 rout of Stony Brook.

Adrien had 10 rebounds and Thabeet nine for the unbeaten Huskies (9-0), who made 8-of-13 three-point shots. UConn had a 47-24 edge in rebounds.

Jerome Dyson scored 16 points and A.J. Price and Craig Austrie 13 each for the Huskies.

Danny Carter led Stony Brook (5-5) with 20 points.

The Seawolves shot just 32.4 percent from the floor and had only nine free throws.
