Tommie Harris' wife dies

EDMONTON, Alberta, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Dwayne Roloson made 23 saves on 24 shots Saturday to post his 23rd NHL shutout and lead the Edmonton Oilers past Vancouver 3-0.
It was Roloson's first shutout of the season. Dustin Penner, Ales Hemsky and Robert Nilsson scored for Edmonton, which won for the fourth time in five games.
Curtis Sanford yielded three goals on 29 shots for the Canucks, who wrapped up a seven-game road trip with a record of 2-4-1.
Penner opened the scoring with a backhander 49 seconds into the first period. Hemsky made it 2-0 late in the second period and Nilsson capped the scoring with a goal at 2:20 of the third.
