ANAHEIM, Calif., Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Brendan Morrison put Anaheim in front for good in the second period Sunday and the Ducks, despite letting a two-goal lead get away, defeated Minnesota 4-2.

Anaheim won for the third time in four games and has captured five consecutive contests at home. The Wild has lost five in a row for the first time since last March.

Ryan Getzlaf scored 98 seconds into the game, his 13th goal of the year, and Corey Perry gave Anaheim a 2-0 lead midway through the opening period.

Minnesota came back, however, on Marc-Andre Bergeron's power-play goal and a tally by Eric Belanger 2:32 into the second.

Anaheim goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere was perfect the rest of the way, stopping eight shots in the third period and 26 overall.

Josh Harding took the loss, giving up four goals on 34 shots.

Minnesota had won the previous five meetings with the Ducks.
