COL BKB: Louisville 94, Austin Peay 75

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Samardo Samuels had 21 points and 12 rebounds Saturday to lead the 10th-ranked Louisville Cardinals in a 94-75 win over Austin Peay.

Preston Knowles added 21 points and Terrence Williams had 20 points and eight assists for Louisville (6-1), which has won four straight games.

Wes Channels scored 23 points to lead Austin Peay (5-3), which had a four-game winning streak end. Drake Reed added in 18 points and Anthony Campbell 14 in defeat.

Austin Peay led 54-49 early in the second half, but Louisville went on a 19-5 run midway through the period.
