COL BKB: Georgetown 79, Memphis 70 (OT)

WASHINGTON, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- DaJuan Summers scored 21 points and Austin Freeman 18 Saturday to lead 19th-ranked Georgetown to a 79-70 win over 15th-ranked Memphis.

Chris Wright added 14 points and Greg Monroe 13 for the Hoyas (7-1), who have won four straight games.

Shawn Taggart had 21 points and 10 rebounds and freshman Tyreke Evans scored 20 for Memphis (5-2), which saw its 19-game road winning streak end.

Memphis, idle since Dec. 2, was playing its first true road game of the season. The Tigers stayed in contention with a 53-36 rebound edge, including 25 offensive rebounds.
