CLEVELAND, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- LeBron James scored 28 points Friday in helping the Cleveland Cavaliers equal a franchise record 11th consecutive victory -- 88-72 over Philadelphia.

Cleveland tied the team mark for most wins in a row set from Dec. 15, 1988, to Jan. 7, 1989. The Cavaliers will attempt to break the record Saturday in Atlanta.

Anderson Varejao added 17 points for Cleveland, Delonte West had 16 and Maurice Williams had 14. Zydrunas Ilgauskas, the team's all-time leading rebounder, missed the game with an ankle sprain.

Philadelphia was led by Willie Green with 19 points and Andre Iguodala with 16. It was the 76ers third straight loss and their eighth in 10 games.

Cleveland's lead stood at nine with 10:19 to play, but the 76ers went the next 5:02 without scoring a point.

The Cavaliers ran their home record to 13-0. They are the only NBA team without a home loss.
