VIRGINIA WATER, England, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Henrik Stenson posted a nine-shot victory over a strong field at a tournament in South Africa and jumped five places to No. 7 in the men's world golf rankings.

Stenson was a wire-to-wire winner last week at the Nedbank Challenge in Sun City, finishing at 21-under-par 267. Kenny Perry was second at 12-under.

Stenson moved from 12th to seventh in the rankings, two spots below his personal best.

Tigers Woods remained No. 1 -- the 525th week he's held that position -- while spots 2-6 were also the same. Sergio Garcia is second followed by Phil Mickelson, Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh and Robert Karlsson.

After Stenson, Camilo Villegas was bumped one spot to eighth and Ernie Els fell one to ninth. Lee Westwood retained the No. 10 spot.

Garcia, Karlsson and Westwood all played in the Sun City event. Karlsson finished third at 9-under-par and Garcia and Westwood tied for fifth at 4-under.
