NHL: Florida 4, Ottawa 3 (OT)

OTTAWA, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Stephen Weiss scored with just 9.1 seconds remaining in overtime Monday to give the Florida Panthers a 4-3 win over Ottawa.

The unassisted goal, Weiss's fourth score of the year, came against Senators goalie Alex Auld, who made 36 saves in the losing effort.

Dany Healy, Michal Repik and Nick Boynton scored in regulation for Florida -- Repik getting his first NHL goal in his first game in the league.

Panthers goalie Craig Anderson stopped 35 of the 38 shots he faced.
