SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Kyle Brodziak's power-play goal with 2:20 left in overtime Saturday night lifted the Edmonton Oilers to a 3-2 win, ending San Jose's nine-game winning streak.

With the Sharks' Patrick Marleau in the penalty box for hooking, Shawn Horcoff hit Brodziak with a pass and Brodziak's shot glanced off Christian Erhoff's skate and past Evgeni Nabokov for the game-winning score.

Dustin Penner had a goal and an assist and Ales Hemsky scored a goal for the Oilers, who won their third straight. Dwayne Roloson finished with 41 saves.

Dan Boyle and Jeremy Roenick scored goals and Nabokov managed 14 saves for the Sharks, who lost for the first time since Nov. 11 -- but remain unbeaten in regulation at home this season (14

2).
