NFL: New Orleans 29, Atlanta 25

NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Pierre Thomas gained 197 all-purpose yards and scored two touchdowns Sunday to key the New Orleans Saints' 29-25 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Thomas rushed for a 102 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, caught a 7-yard score and returned a kickoff 88 yards to set up his game-winning 5-yard score.

Reggie Bush gained 80 yards on 10 carries and 26 yards on three receptions.

Garrett Hartley kicked three field goals, while Drew Brees completed 18-of-32 passes for 230 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions for the Saints (7-6), who kept their slim playoff hopes alive.

Atlanta's Matt Ryan went 24-of-33 for 315 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Roddy White caught 10 passes for 164 yards, while Michael Turner scored once after 18 carries for 61 yards for the Falcons (8-5), who had won four of five.
