
TORONTO, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Miami's Chad Pennington was 23-of-29 passing for 181 yards and a touchdown Sunday as the Dolphins beat Buffalo 16-3 in Toronto.
Ronnie Brown rushed for 70 yards on 16 carries in the first NFL game ever played in Canada.
The victory put the Dolphins (8-5) in a three-way tie for first place in the AFC East with the Jets and Patriots.
J.P. Losman went 13-for-27 for 123 yards and gained 53 yards on the ground in his first start in more than a year to lead the Bills (6-7). Rian Lindell kicked a 40-yard field goal in the first quarter to account for Buffalo's only scoring.
Miami took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on a 20-yard TD pass from Pennington to Anthony Fasano. The Dolphins added to their tally with a trio of field goals by Dan Carpenter.
