NFL: Houston 24, Green Bay 21

GREEN BAY, Wis., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Kris Brown's 40-yard field goal with time expiring Sunday lifted Houston to a 24-21 win over Green Bay.

It was Brown's third field goal on a cold afternoon at Green Bay's Lambeau Field.

In the fourth quarter, Matt Schaub threw his second scoring pass, and rookie running back Steve Slaton ripped off a 34-yard run.

Schaub, returning from a four-game absence (knee) completed 28-of-42 passes for 414 yards and one interception.

Andre Johnson scored once after our catches for 55 yards, while Slaton gained 120 yards on 26 carries for the Texans (6-7), who have won three in a row following a three-game losing streak.

Aaron Rodgers led Green Bay with two touchdowns on 19-of-30 passing for 295 yards, but two interceptions.

Ryan Grant scored once after 104 yards on 19 carries, while Donald Driver and Greg Jennings combined to make five catches for 149 yards for the struggling Packers (5-8), who have lost five of six.
