Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft
TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Ryan Reid scored 13 points and Jordan DeMercy had 12 Sunday when No. 21 Florida State pulled out a 57-55 victor over in-state rival Florida in a wild finish.
Dan Werner had a chance to win it for the Gators after DeMercy missed the second of two free throws with 5 seconds to play, but Werner's jumper fell short as time expired.
Reid sank a pair of free throws and hit a clutch jumper down the stretch for the Seminoles (8-1).
Nick Calathes scored 16 to lead the Gators (6-2) who saw their winning streak end at three games.
