PASADENA, Calif., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Mark Sanchez passed for 269 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead No. 5 Southern California to a 28-7 win over UCLA.

The Trojans earned their seventh consecutive Pac-10 title and a Rose Bowl bid.

Sanchez was 18-of-33 for the Trojans (11-1, 8-1 Pac-10), who will face Penn State New Year's Day in the Rose Bowl. Joe McKnight ran for 99 yards and a touchdown, and Stafon Johnson rushed for 47 yards and a TD for USC.

Patrick Turner caught five passes for 81 yards and a touchdown and Damian Williams had three catches for 68 yards and a TD.

UCLA's Kevin Craft was 11-for-28 for just 89 yards for the Bruins (4-8, 3-6), who suffered their first eight- loss season since 1963.

The Bruins scored first, capitalizing on a Trojans fumble early in the game, but never got on track after that. USC gained 478 yards total offense to just 157 for UCLA.
