
GLENDALE, Ariz., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Steve Reinprecht produced the first two scores in a three-goal Phoenix third period Thursday, leading the Coyotes past Toronto 6-3.
After losing six games in a row, the Coyotes have won four out of five.
The game was deadlocked going into the final period, but Reinprecht tipped in a shot by Derek Morris 5:21 into the third for the game-winner. He got a wrist shot past Vesa Toskala with 5:38 to play and Todd Fedoruk added a goal with 3:52 to go.
Mikael Tellqvist started in the Phoenix goal for the fourth time in five games, but he was removed after surrendering three goals on nine shots. Ilya Bryzgalov replaced him and stopped all nine shots he saw.
The first three Phoenix goals were scored by Martin Hanzel, who has nine for the season. Toskala allowed six goals on 26 shots.
