NBA: New Jersey 113, Minnesota 84

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Vince Carter led seven Nets in double figures with 18 points Friday and New Jersey coasted in the second half to a 113-84 win over Minnesota.

The Timberwolves lost their fourth straight and were outscored by 20 points over the final two quarters.

Devin Harris and Yi Jianlian added 16 points each for the Nets. Jarvis Hayes had 14 and Kenyon Dooling had 12.

New Jersey outshot Minnesota from the field 52 percent to 42 percent and limited the Timberwolves to two three-point field goals in a dozen tries.

New Jersey won for the fourth time in five games, bouncing back from a setback to Washington Tuesday.
