COL BKB: Arizona St. 81, Jackson St. 60

TEMPE, Ariz., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- James Harden scored 22 points with eight rebounds Thursday in carrying No. 19 Arizona State to an 81-60 blasting of Jackson State.

Jeff Pendergraph pitched in 19 points for the Sun Devils (6-1) and Rihards Kuksiks had 16.

Jackson State (1-7) was led by Garrison Johnson with 21.

Arizona State put together a 19-4 run en route to a 31-14 advantage late in the first half. Jackson State pulled within 11 early in the second period before the Wildcats scored nine points in a row.

Jackson State has yet to play a home game this season.
