WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- James Johnson missed only two of his 10 field goal attempts Wednesday, powering No. 17 Wake Forest to an 83-58 crushing of Indiana.

Johnson also hit all three of his shots from three-point range as he totaled 21 points to help keep Wake Forest unbeaten in seven games.

The Demon Deacons returned home from a trip to California, where they won the 76 Classic tournament with victories over California State-Fullerton, Texas-El Paso and Baylor.

L.D. Williams added 16 points and Al-Farouq Aminu had 12. Indiana (4-3) was led by 12 points from Matt Roth.

Wake Forest closed the first half on a 27-11 run that gave it a 47-31 lead. The Demon Deacons are off to their best start since opening the 2003-04 campaign 11-0.
