NBA: Dallas 100, LA Clippers 98

DALLAS, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Jose Barea's three-pointer with 50.2 seconds to play Tuesday let the Dallas Mavericks slip by the Los Angeles Clippers 100-98.

Dirk Nowitzki had a game-high 29 points and 10 rebounds for Dallas, which has won seven of its last eight games. Jason Terry had 26 points in the victory, Barea 15 and Brandon Bass 14.

Zach Randolph had 27 points and 10 rebounds, Al Thornton 23 points and nine rebounds, and Baron Davis 22 points for the Clippers, who have lost eight of 10.
