COL BKB: Notre Dame 102, South Dakota 76

SOUTH BEND, Ind., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Ryan Ayers and Kyle McAlarney hit 16-of-27 three-pointers and combined for 62 points Tuesday in No. 7 Notre Dame's 102-76 win over South Dakota.

Ayers hit nine three-pointers and totaled 35 points. McAlarney made seven and scored 27 points for the Fighting Irish (6-1), whose only loss this season was to top-ranked North Carolina.

South Dakota (3-5), which competes at the Division II level, was led by Jesse Becker, who scored 24 points. Tyler Cain added 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

Notre Dame got off to a 14-0 lead in less than 2 minutes.
