ANAHEIM, Calif., Dec. 1 (UPI) -- No. 24 Wake Forest, paced by L.D. Williams' 15 points and 10 rebounds, busted Baylor 87-74 Sunday to win the 76 Classic in California.
Jeff Teague added 14 points, eight rebounds and eight assists despite missing nine of 10 shots from the field. James Johnson had 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Al-Farouq Aminu had 13 points and 12 rebounds as the Demon Deacons improved to 6-0.
Wake Forest out-rebounded Baylor 62-38.
The previously unbeaten Bears (6-1) got 19 points from Henry Dugat, 16 Curtis Jerrells, 12 from LaceDarius Dunn and 10 from Kevin Rogers, who also had 14 rebounds.
"Wake Forest played a great game," said Baylor coach Scott Drew. "We kind of live by the three and die by the three and tonight we died by it."
Baylor led 31-30 lead to the intermission, but Wake Forest went on an 18-1 tear early in the second half to take control.
