FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers scored 30 straight points and forced five turnovers Sunday en route to a 33-10 thrashing of the New England Patriots.

Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel, under pressure from the Steelers' defense, was picked off twice and lost two fumbles in the rain-soaked contest.

Ben Roethlisberger threw two touchdown passes for Pittsburgh (9-3), one covering 19 yards to Santonio Holmes and the other an 11-yarder to Hines Ward.

The Steelers' Jeff Reed kicked four field goals and Gary Russell scored on a 1-yard run.

Cassel was 19-of-39 passing for 169 yards.

Sammy Morris scored the Pats' touchdown on a 2-yard run early in the game.
