
ST. LOUIS, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Ronnie Brown scored the only touchdown and Dan Carpenter kicked three field goals when the Miami Dolphins recorded a 16-12 win over the St. Louis Rams.
Brown rushed for 48 yards on 15 carries and scored on a three-yard second quarter run.
Carpenter booted one field goal in the second, third and fourth quarters.
Quarterback Chad Pennington went 13-for-23 for 166 yards, no touchdowns or interceptions, while Rickey Williams added 54 yards on 12 carries for the Dolphins (7-5), who have won five of their last six outings.
St. Louis' Marc Bulger went 16-for-35 for 149 yards and three interceptions.
Steven Jackson returned after missing four of the last five games with a right thigh injury and rushed for 94 yards on 21 carries.
Josh Brown booted four field goals, while Dane Looker made six receptions for 52 yards for the Rams (2-10), who have lost six in a row.
