MADISON, Wis., Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Travon Hughes' 16 points led Saturday's 67-46 win by 19th-ranked Wisconsin over Milwaukee.

The Panthers started quickly and held a 8-3 advantage when Tone Boyle sank a three-pointer with 17:25 left in the first half.

Wisconsin responded by grabbing a 37-27 lead at the break.

Hughes' three-pointer made it 20-19 with about nine minutes left before halftime, and Wisconsin stayed on top.

The Badgers outscored Milwaukee 30-19 in the second stanza, and held a double digit lead the entire second half.

Joe Krabbenhoft and Marcus Landry scored 12 points apiece with Krabbehoft adding 10 rebounds and three assists for the Badgers (5-1), who bounced back after a 76-57 pounding from second-ranked Connecticut in their previous outing.

Deonte Roberts and Tony Meier both scored 11 points, but no other player scored in double figures for the Panthers (3-4).
