
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Raymar Morgan led Michigan State to a hot shooting performance Friday and the No. 6 Spartans subdued Oklahoma State 94-79.
Coming off their first loss of the season, a setback against Maryland in the opening round of the Old Spice Classic, Michigan State hit 59 percent of its shots from the field against the Cowboys.
Morgan put up 11 shots and made nine of them, finishing with 29 points. Travis Walton added 16 for the Spartans (3-1).
Oklahoma State (4-2) was paced by Terrel Harris with 21. The Cowboys fell in the tournament's first round to No. 10 Gonzaga, who defeated Maryland earlier Friday 81-59.
The Cowboys built a 14-7 lead, but Michigan State then scored 12 straight points and eventually took a 44-29 advantage at halftime.
