NBA: New Orleans 105, Denver 101

DENVER, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- James Posey's three-pointer with 19.1 seconds left followed by four Hornets free throws Thursday gave New Orleans a 105-101 win over the Denver Nuggets.

The Hornets got their fourth straight win with the help of Chris Paul's 22 points and 10 assists. Rasual Butler added 19 points and Peja Stojakovic 17.

The Nuggets were led by J.R. Smith's game-high 32 points, five rebounds and four assists. Carmelo Anthony chipped in 24 points and Chauncey Billings had 12.

Denver, which lost for the second time in eight games, trailed 32-22 after the first quarter but eventually pulled into a 98-98 tie with 37.6 seconds left only to fade away from there.
