ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Cameron Tatum's four second half three-pointers Friday rallied 12th-ranked Tennessee past No. 16 Georgetown 90-78 at Orlando's Old Spice Classic.
UT held a 39-37 halftime lead, but a layup by Greg Monroe put Georgetown up by 65-57 with 9:15 remaining.
From that point, Tatum, a reserve, came in for foul-plagued Wayne Chism and led UT's rally with four of his five treys.
Tyler Smith led Tennessee with 21 points and three assists.
Tatum scored 17, Bobby Maze 14 with eight assists, while J.P. Prince added 11 points and four rebounds for the unbeaten Volunteers (5-0).
Chris Wright's 18 points with four assists led Georgetown.
DeJuan Summers scored 17 with three rebounds.
Monroe scored 15 with three rebounds, and Austin Freeman added 12 points, five rebounds, and three assists for the Hoyas (3-1), who limited Wichita State, the previous opponent, to 27.9 percent overall shooting and just 50 points.
