COL BKB: Oklahoma 87, Purdue 82 (OT)

NEW YORK, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Willie Warren scored 22 points Friday, helping No. 13 Oklahoma to an 87-82 overtime win over ninth-ranked Purdue for the NIT Season Tip-Off title in New York.

Purdue's E'Twaun Moore sank a free throw, giving his team a 74-73 lead with 1:22 left in regulation, but Blake Griffin sank the second of two free throws, creating a 74-74 deadlock and the extra session.

Blake Griffin scored 18 points with 21 rebounds and was the tournament's MVP.

Taylor Griffin scored 19 with eight rebounds, and Austin Johnson added 11 points and six assists for the unbeaten Sooners (6-0), who held a huge 46-5 edge in free throws taken.

They went 4-of-19 on three-pointers, and just 25-of-61 (41 percent) from the field.

Moore led Purdue with 22 points, three rebounds and four assists.

Nemanja Calasan scored 20 with eight rebounds, while Robbie Hummel had 10 points and nine rebounds for the Boilermakers (5-1).
