ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Josh Heytvelt scored 20 points Friday, pacing 10th-ranked Gonzaga's 81-59 win over Maryland in the semifinals of Orlando's Old Spice Classic.

Gonzaga led 38-29 at the break, and turned the contest into a laugher when two free throws and a layup by Matt Bouldin led a 12-2 spurt, opening up a 60-42 lead with 9:17 remaining.

Heytvelt sank two jumpers to open the final stanza.

Austin Daye scored 17 with nine rebounds. Jeremy Pargo scored 11, while Heytvelt added nine rebounds for the unbeaten Bulldogs (4-0), who face 12th-ranked Tennessee in Sunday's final.

The Volunteers downed No. 16 Georgetown 90-78 earlier Friday.

Greivis Vazquez had 16 points, three rebounds and three assists, but no other player scored in double figures for the Terps (4-1), who torched No. 6 Michigan State 80-62 in Thursday's first round.

With its victory, Gonzaga rose to 3-1 all-time in the series.
