EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Jason LaBarbera, given a start after coming on in a relief role 24 hours earlier, made 22 saves Wednesday in Los Angeles' 2-1 win over Edmonton.

LaBarbera replaced Erik Ersberg during a 6-2 loss in Calgary Tuesday and was given another opportunity against the Oilers.

He allowed only a goal to Ales Hemsky midway through the first period. That tied the game and Anze Kopitar produced the winner with 6:09 to play in the second period.

The Kings broke a two-game losing streak. Dwayne Roloson made 27 saves in the loss.
