COL BKB: Tennessee 78, Siena 64

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Wayne Chism led a balanced attack with 15 points Thursday when No. 12 Tennessee beat Siena, 78-64, in the first round at the Old Spice Classic in Orlando.

A run of 18 straight points late in the first half helped UT build a 47-27 halftime advantage, and the closest Siena came in the final 20 minutes was 50-41 after a free throw by Edwin Ubiles with 13:29 remaining.

Renaldo Woolridge and Tyler Smith scored 14 points apiece, and J.P. Prince added 11 with three rebounds and three assists for the Volunteers (4-0), who shot 50 percent from the field (29-of-58), while Siena shot 36.9 percent.

The Vols committed 19 turnovers.

Siena was led by Alex Franklin's 17 points with nine rebounds.

Ubiles scored 14 points with four blocked shots and Ryan Rossiter added 12 points with 14 rebounds for the Saints (2-1), who could not overcome their own 18 turnovers.
