ATLANTA, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Al Horford scored 21 points Wednesday and converted a key three-point play down the stretch to push Atlanta past Milwaukee 102-96.
The Hawks won for the third time in four games.
Marvin Williams and Mike Bibby both contributed 18 for Atlanta, Ronald Murray had 16 and Joe Johnson 15.
Milwaukee closed to within 91-89 with 2:30 to play, but Horford hit a shot while being fouled by Charlie Villanueva and the ensuing free throw boosted the Hawks' advantage to five. A three-pointer by Murray with 53.7 seconds remaining made it 99-91.
Richard Jefferson paced Milwaukee with 25 points. The Bucks have lost two straight and five out of seven.
