WASHINGTON, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Caron Butler had 35 points, eight rebounds and six assists Tuesday to lead Washington to a 124-100 victory over Golden State.

Antawn Jamison and Andray Blatche each scored 25 points with Jamison adding 11 rebounds for the Wizards.

Washington, replacing Eddie Jordan with interim Coach Ed Tappscott, got just its second win of the season Tuesday. Jordan was in his sixth season with Wizards. He had guided the club to the playoffs each of the past four seasons.

Washington won for the first time since getting its only win of the season on Nov. 12 against Utah.

Corey Maggette led the Warriors scoring with 17 points. Stephen Jackson added 16 points and eight assists.
