NHL: N.Y. Islanders 4, Montreal 3 (SO)

MONTREAL, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Richard Park scored in the shootout Monday to lead the New York Islanders to a 4-3 victory over Montreal.

Following a scoreless first round in the shootout, Park beat Carey Price for his goal. Bill Guerin put it away by also beating Price to the glove side.

Park also scored in regulation for the Islanders, who have won five of their last six games. Doug Weight had two assists and Joey MacDonald stopped 23-of-26 shots in the win for New York.

Steve Begin, Josh Gorges and Maxim Lapierre scored for the Canadiens, who have lost three of four. Price allowed three goals on 24 shots.
