COL BKB: Texas 68, St. Joseph's 50

MAUI, Hawaii, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- A.J. Abrams scored 17 points Monday to lead seventh-ranked Texas to a 68-50 win over St. Joseph's in the Maui Invitational.

Gary Johnson added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Damion James had 14 points for the Longhorns (3-0), who will face Notre Dame or Indiana in a Tuesday semifinal.

Ahmad Nivens had 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Hawks (1-2). Darrin Govens added 12 points.
