NHL: Detroit 5, Calgary 2

CALGARY, Alberta, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Jiri Hudler scored the game-winner in a three-goal third period Saturday when the Detroit Red Wings beat Calgary 5-2 for their fifth straight win.

Hudler also had an assist. Four others also scored once, Andreas Lilja had two assists and Ty Conklin gave up two goals on 33 shots for the Red Wings, who have earned at least a point in each of their last eight games (7


1).

Calgary got a goal and an assist from Curtis Glencross and one goal from Mark Giordano.

Miikka Kiprusoff was beaten four times on 36 shots for the Flames, who had won three of four.

On the power play, Detroit went 0-for-3, and the Flames were 1-for-4.
