NBA: New Jersey 112, LA Clippers 95

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Yi Jianlian scored a team-high 27 points Saturday when the New Jersey Nets registered an easy 112-95 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

In his best career effort, Yi added six rebounds and two blocked shots.

New Jersey gradually pulled away from a 31-29 first quarter advantage and outscored LA in every period.

Vince Carter compiled 26 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals. Devin Harris scored 18 with 10 assists, and Bobby Simmons added 11 points, nine rebounds and three assists for the Nets, who won their second game in as many nights and reached the .500 mark (6-6) for the first time this season.

Baron Davis led LA with 30 points and 10 assists. Al Thornton scored 20 with seven rebounds and three assists, while Marcus Camby added 18 points, 13 rebounds and three blocked shots in the Clippers' second loss in as many days after two trades this week.
