OTTAWA, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Alex Auld missed just one of the 19 shots he faced Saturday on the way to a 4-1 Ottawa Senators win over the New York Rangers.

The victory broke the Senators' six-game losing streak.

The only goal Auld surrendered was by New York's Markus Naslund at 1:32 of the third period. His career record rose to 2

2 against New York.

Four Ottawa players scored, including Jason Spezza (power play) at 5:43 of the first period, and Daniel Alfredsson unassisted at 19:15 of the second. Jesse Winchester and Alfredsson scored just over one minute apart.

Ottawa has won seven of the last nine meetings between the clubs.

Netminder Stephen Valiquette was beaten four times on 36 shots for the Rangers, who have lost two in a row following a three-game winning streak.

On the power play, Ottawa went 1-for-7, and New York was scoreless in three chances.
