
MEMPHIS, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Mehmet Okur scored 23 points Saturday night to lead the injury-depleted Utah Jazz past Memphis 103-94.
Ronnie Brewer scored 21, Morris Almond had 11 and Ronnie Price scored 10 for the Jazz -- who were without the services of Carlos Boozer, Deron Williams and Kyle Korver.
The Jazz, who have won three of their last four games, shot 54.7 percent from the field, with Brewer hitting on 10-of-14 and Okur shooting 9-of-15.
O.J. Mayo led the Grizzlies with 23 points and went 10-for-10 at the foul line. Darrell Arthur finished with 16 points and nine rebounds for Memphis, which has lost five of its last six games.
The Grizzlies built a 15-9 lead in the first quarter but the Jazz went up 28-25 by the end of the period and took a 50-43 lead at halftime. Utah extended its lead to 77-69 after three quarters Memphis could not mount a challenge in the fourth.
