NBA: Portland 117, Sacramento 96

SACRAMENTO, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Steve Blake scored 20 points Friday and the Portland Trail Blazers used a barrage of three-pointers to run away from Sacramento 117-96.

The Trail Blazers made 15 shots from beyond the arc to win their second straight and move within a half game of Utah for the lead in the Northwest Division.

Portland led by six at the half and then outscored the Kings by 19 during the third quarter.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 19 for the Trail Blazers, Brandon Roy 16 and Travis Outlaw 15. Greg Oden, who sat out the entire 2007-08 season after being the No. 1 player chosen in the draft, played 18 minutes and scored seven points.

Jason Thompson scored 19 for the Kings. Sacramento had won its previous three meetings with Portland.
