Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
EVANSTON, Ill., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- C.J. Bacher passed for 230 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead the 24th-ranked Northwestern Wildcats to a 27-10 win over Illinois.
Eric Peterman had eight receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown for Northwestern (9-3, 5-3 Big Ten).
Illinois (5-7, 3-5) quarterback Juice Williams passed for 212 yards with an interception and led the Fighting Illini in rushing with 94 yards.
