COL BKB: Louisville 79, Morehead State 41

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Samardo Samuels scored 18 points and Earl Clark added 13 Saturday to lead the No. 3 Louisville Cardinals to a 79-41 win over Morehead State.

Jerry Smith had 12 points, Preston Knowles scored 10, Terrence Williams had 11 rebounds and Edgar Sosa 10 assists in Louisville's season opener.

Leon Buchanan led Morehead State (0-4) with 10 points. Morehead State had 17 turnovers.
