WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Nov. 21 (UPI) -- The LPGA Hall of Fame career of Annika Sorenstam came to an end Friday when she missed the cut at the ADT Championship in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Sorenstam shot 3-over-par 75 and was at 5-under 149 after two rounds of the season-ending ladies golf tournament. The cut was at 3-over 147, eight strokes behind tournament leader Katherine Hull.

Sorenstam, 38, announced in May she would retire at the end of this season. She won 90 professional tournaments, including 10 major titles.

"I know it is (over), but in my mind I have very mixed emotions. This is the decision I made," said Sorenstam. "There are certain things I'm going to miss, there is no doubt about it."

Hull opened Friday with a 1-stroke lead and had 14 consecutive pars to open her second round. She posted a birdie at the par-5 15th hole and parred the final three holes keep the lead.

Angela Stanford, who has posted five straight top-five finishes, including a pair of wins, fired the low round of the week with her five-under 67. That moved her into second place at four-under-par 140.
